FAQ
Answers to common questions about asset visibility, privacy, and sharing.
Why are my assets public?
By default, all generated assets are public to build a shared library of pixel art. Free and Creator plan users cannot create private or unlisted assets. If you need private assets, you must upgrade to the Studio plan.
How do private assets work?
Private assets are only visible to you. They do not appear in search results or the public gallery. Only Studio plan subscribers can create private or unlisted assets.
Which subscription allows private assets?
The Studio plan allows you to choose between Public, Unlisted, and Private visibility for each asset. Free and Creator plans always generate public assets.
Can other users download my public assets?
Yes. Public assets can be downloaded by anyone. The asset library is designed for sharing and discovery. If you do not want your assets downloaded, you need a Studio plan to set them to private.
Why did my private assets become public?
When your Studio subscription expires or is downgraded, all private and unlisted assets are automatically converted to public. This happens instantly. No assets are deleted and their URLs remain unchanged.
How does search work?
Search uses PostgreSQL full-text indexing across titles and AI-generated tags. Results are ranked by relevance combined with likes, downloads, and views.
Can I remove a public asset?
You can delete your own assets from your gallery at any time. Deleted assets are removed from search and the public library permanently.
